Cause to pause.

17th december 2007

It's now exactly a year to the day since we arrived here; naive, hapless, helpless and rather confused by the whole stressful process of moving to Italy from our comfortable and happy life in the UK. It obviously gives us cause to pause and to reflect on the year, but there would be too much to write and too much to repeat. So we have trawled through some of the images which have made this year memorable, and here they are, most of them. Make of them what you will...

Ah, yes. From being happy and comfortable at home, it does take a lot to go through the demanding process of moving to Italy... but those pictures show how memorable it has been. Congrats!

...e Buon Natale! :)

What a gorgeous year you've had! Auguri!

life is made of memories.. happy anniversary

Brava! and beautiful photos!

Stunning photos...

What a gorgeous collage! You are a great photographer. How did you make that collage? Congratulations on your one year anniversary in Italy!

Congratulations! Many more anniversaries like this one.

I adored the pic of the familgia quellu' per una passeggiata. The niche beside the window giving shelter to either a tired saint or weary Madonna. A stack of wood who gave of their limbs reveal the year of their demise and the the season by the rings. The dolphin fountain aged crisp and clean. The lite shooting rays through the ceiling,of course those{creepy Italian trees]. Those are the pictures which grabbed me first although pictures are always fun like tiny windows into our lives.

Hi found you over on Pecorino e Miele, what a big move that was!! We have only just been to Italy on holiday in November, first time there, I would love to move over there. I will add you to my blog.
